Recently, the customs released import and export data for July.
 
China exported 46.51 million new inflatable rubber tires in July, up 6.8 percent year-on-year.Exports reached 9.589 billion yuan, up 5% year-on-year.
From January to July, China exported 295 million tires, up 5.6% year on year.Exports totaled 59.923 billion yuan, up 7.7% year-on-year.
According to statistics, in July 2019, the export weight of Chinese car tires was 210,400 tons, up 4.59% month-on-month and 7.82% year-on-year.

According to the Canadian Tire and Rubber Association (TRAC), winter tires have been the fastest-growing tire category in Canada over the past five years.

TRAC attributed the growth in winter tyres to the combined efforts of tyre manufacturers, retailers and the government.
The Canadian government is offering incentives to manufacturers who lower prices for winter tires.

From 15 November 2018, all cars in Italy will have to change their winter tyres.
 
According to the Italian road law, all cars and heavy vehicles must have winter anti-skid tyres or protective chains suitable for driving on snow (ice) during 15 November solstice and 30 April 2019.

 
Winter tyres are printed with “M+S”, or “MS”, “M/S”, “MS” and “M&S” for verification purposes.
M and S come from English, where M stands for Mud and S for Snow.
