AUSTRALIA ENDED ANTI-DUMPING DUTIES ON CHINESE WHEELS

On November 26, 2018, the China chamber of commerce for import and export of mechanical and electrical products issued a letter announcing the termination of Australia’s anti-dumping and countervailing measures against aluminum wheel hubs in China.

On November 22 local time, the Australian anti-dumping committee (ADC) issued a final ruling ending the “double anti-dumping” measures against imports of aluminum wheels from China.

Removing existing measures could lead to dumping and subsidies again, but would not harm its domestic industry.

According to the ruling, goods exported to Australia after March 2, 2018 in question can be claimed for tax refund by the importer.
